Lois Bamberger is the founder of this parade in Newark, New Jersey from Bamberger’s Store. Then it moved to New York City by Macy’s. The store workers walked in amazing costume to Macy’s Leadership store in New York on 34 street. They also brought bands, animals from Central Park Zoo, and floats with them. Santa Claus welcome the parade in Herald Square at the end of the parade. The attendees of first Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade were more than 250,000. Then they decided to arrange the outstanding Parade annually on the Thanksgiving Day.
